Trekking tour to Bucegi Mountains - Gaura Valley

Starting early from Bran’s last houses, we will continue in the Ciubotea Valley, with a view over our head of big conglomerate towers. The constant ascent will take us up to 2422m high Scara (Ladder) Peak. From here we can easily traverse the ridge to the highest point of the mountain - Omu Peak and hut. After a break – and a beer – we will descend into Gaura Valley, a beautiful place with conglomerate and limestone towers and waterfalls. From the base of the valley we have to get back to Bran, trough a wild pine forest.
