Trekking tour to Ciomatu Volcanic Mountains

This is practically a mixt between a car tour and trekking tour, as we will have multiple transfer between certain locations. The Coimatu volcanic region is rich in natural wonders, and you should see the most of it. So we will start at the St Ana volcanic Lake and the Mohos peat bog first. We will walk just 3-4 km, but we will stay longer to have time enough for every detail in this amazing environment. After it we will go by car tot he Puturosu (Smelly) Mountain, and we will visit the Stinking Cave, and the Apor girls bubbling springs. We can hike up tot he Balvanyos ruins too, or even to Celele peak for a nice panoramic view. This should be no more than a 2-3h walk, and it is optional of course. At the late afternoon we should be back in Tusnad Resort for bear watching … 2-3h program: Bear Watching
